Muallaf, The Convert of Heart

 Muallaf by Yasmin Ahmad

其实,这部电影的诠释的焦点不是在宗教的课题;

*Rohani,反抗虐待的父亲带着妹妹Rohana 离家出走;

quranexplorer.com   (如果你看了电影,想要了解其中可兰经 经文的话)

I've no idea.”

" It isn’t about creating something from thin air, but about documenting our personal feelings about the things that we see. Or to put it crudely, how are you going to be a storyteller if you have no story to tell? Perhaps, in the end, there are no such things as creative people; there are only sharp observers with sensitive hearts. "
              -Yasmin Ahmad, 2006

Malaysian

"For them, a film must be a sort of propaganda, where the filmmaker is given the right to impose the strongest of opinions on the audience. People who populate the story of the film must do the "right" thing all the time, and the ones that don't, must atone before the end credits, or suffer dire consequences."
             -Yasmin Ahmad, 2006

" I shan't tell you here what I personally feel the purpose of a film is,
but I'd just like to hear what you folks feel and think about it."
                                           -Yasmin Ahmad

。。。。

Late Tag

I've so much to say,
Sadly..
I don't know what to say and how to say.

Maybe,
More verbal keeps thing even complicated..
Thats why everyone remain silent,
So quiet yet desperate.

If you would, you've did...
Should apologise or be grateful for your insecure?
Moving on,
Shall we?

In the dawn,
The night asked me:
Why do you stop dancing gracefully like twenties?
.... Aint you wanna hav all the time in the world.

Lets bury it,
and I would tag it as memories..
Purple tag or White?
With the deepest condolences, dedicate this song..
It was a song of sorrow; It was a song of celebration.

I would say,
Ever, it was a sparkle of my life.

Mini but Mighty

The concept of this Public Service Announcement (PSA) is to create awareness of public that Malaysia is not only built up by 3 races and "categorized" other as Lain-Lain.

In the end of the commercial shown capital which refering to "Lain-Lain" is actually in the spelling of MALAYSIA as part of the nation.

Happy 53rd National Day, Malaysia  =)

It was a disappointed production,
Everyone, I believe.

So much of hardworks and exorbitant production fees,
It should be more than this,
It was totally under expectation and thats melancholy.

Though we fail to earn any credit from anyone,
lets take it like The Shadow...
No matter how good or bad it was, It is still our baby...
At least, It is an Effort.

I would love to thanks to Our Lecturers: Ms Tan Wooi Yee and Mr Beh Chun Chee, for your guidance, consultation and time spent keeping track of our progression, especially during post-production. Mr Beh, though your words really make me feel DAMN stress and downhearted, but I know is all for our own good and I'm NOT STRWABERRY GENERATION loh....
I appreciate it, seriously..... Sir.

Thanks to all my dearest talent involved in the production, willing to spend time and highly co-operate with our tight shooting schedule within a week without any pay or rewards for you guys. Our lecturer, starring in the short film: Mr Luqman and Mr Zackry, Thank You so much.

Not forgotten, all the crew of The Shadow Production team who DID make so much of effort and hardworks from Pre-production to Post-production, and the Screening! Cheers and Clap for yourself, we've make another big move and wiser through this experience, kan?

-Enjoy the Show-

An affordable sweet memories

I was shopping in the Jusco trying to grab myself some snack food and I FOUND this! The feeling of excited and familiar rushed into my mind, YES..... my parents always bought this biscuit for us when I was young and it still can be found in the market now, WOW!

Whenever I open the fridge and I'll find this when I was young  =)
Do you Remember?

No matter how creative packaging or new flavours all the brand on the rack,
still cant fight over the taste of good old time.

Chocolate or Milk?
I love Both!

So Crispy, So Happy!
